Assembling and installing your Murphy Bed

1. Before starting installation, be sure to read the installation manual.
2. When opening product packages, place them on the floor and open them carefully to avoid damaging the material. Otherwise, you may scratch the pieces or drop and break them.
3. As our products are made from high-quality, first-class materials, some parts can be large and heavy. Therefore, get help from a second person so as not to harm yourself or the product during installation.
4. Compare the types of screws, metal and plastic parts that will come out of the packaging with the visuals and figures on the installation manual.
5. Be sure to dispose of any remaining wood, metal and packaging waste in an organized manner.
6. Otherwise, by stepping on them, you increase the risk of injury or create a base for parts loss.
7. By using the right tools and equipment during the assembly phase, you can avoid potential hazards, damage to parts and loss of time.
8. Be sure to follow the assembly sequence specified in the manual.
9. Once the housing has been installed, it is absolutely essential to make a firm connection between the housing and the wall-mounting unit before proceeding to energize the mechanism spring and assemble the moving parts. Do not open the front of a bed that is not attached to the wall, as the module may fall out and cause injury.
10. Extra care must be taken when assembling the mechanism spring tension and moving parts, and work gloves must be used. Otherwise, your fingers may get stuck and hurt you.
11. After installing the product, carry out the necessary checks and try to understand how it works, then start using it.
12. Our children are our most precious loved ones; that’s why we must constantly check on them during installation and make sure they stay at a distance from us from which they can’t be damaged. We need to explain how to use the products once assembly is complete.
13. When placing knick-knacks, accessories, etc. on the products, they must be positioned so as not to fall off, and if they have sharp edges, they must be placed so as not to damage them.
14. The use of higher beds in our bunk bed models is recommended for children aged 13 and over. Don’t forget that its use by young children can lead to accidents.
15. For modeled table and shelf options, do not use the table and shelf as a ladder, and do not climb or sit on them. Failure to use products for their intended purpose may result in injury or damage to the product.
